Modern Hernia Surgery - Robot-Assisted Minimally Invasive Techniques
About Me
After obtaining my medical degree from Semmelweis University in 2011, I began my career and training in Germany, where I obtained my specialist degree in general and abdominal surgery in 2018. I mastered the fundamentals of the profession at a Berlin minimally invasive (laparoscopic) abdominal surgery clinic, alongside the most modern equipment and healthcare infrastructure.
In 2019, I continued my career in Vienna, now as a specialist, where I worked at a high-volume abdominal general surgery and coloproctology clinic for nearly 4 years, collaborating with renowned experts and mastering the basic techniques of modern hernia surgery.
Nearly 12 years spent in Germany and Austria in top-level medical care greatly established my expertise.
I have regularly participated and continue to participate in numerous domestic and foreign workshops, trainings, further education courses, and congresses as both an attendee and a speaker. I am a member of the Hungarian Surgical Society, and previously of the German and Austrian Surgical Societies. I also consider it important to build and maintain professional connections both nationally and internationally.
In 2023, I made the heartfelt decision to return to my beloved hometown, Budapest.
Since 2023, one of my main focuses has been bringing the most advanced hernia surgery techniques used in Western Europe and the United States to Hungary, applying personalized, individually tailored surgical techniques, primarily using robot-assisted and minimally invasive methods.
A great advantage in this is the availability of robotic surgical technology, which allows me to perform these specialized interventions in a way that is unique at a national level.
From 2026, I am also able to perform these special interventions using robotic surgical technology, which is unique in Hungary.
My work is supported by a motivated and dedicated team, without which high-quality specialized surgical patient care could not be realized. Our common goal is to combine our work and experience to provide the highest quality treatment to all our patients. In my work, I am committed to an equal doctor-patient relationship, where I provide personalized care in a supportive environment with the most modern operative surgical tools.
